Based on my recent experience working with the plans examiner in Duval County who reviews all our applications, the city wants us to submit architectural drawings for solid roof structures and outdoor fireplaces moving forward for building permit applications.
I've been told that what we've been sending are schematic drawings, and what we need are architectural.
Call out all materials (shingles, stucco, siding, block, etc) Vent details & calcs if the ceiling is covered More details you'd typically find on architectural drawings The design team always creates magic. I'm going to attach to this slack a marked up copy of drawings that got rejected recently. It's what we've always submitted in the past, if not more.
