I discussed the baby barrier for your project with Adam, one of the owners of the company. We just wanted to remind you how important it is to have a permanent baby barrier around your pool. This will help to prevent kids from getting in unsupervised and potentially having an accident. If you're thinking of using a baby barrier instead of a property fence, it's especially important to make sure it's a permanent fixture.
We can install a baby barrier directly into the ground around the perimeter of your pool. However, there's a chance that an inspector might not consider it to be permanent enough during the safety inspection. If this happens, we have a few options to fix it.
One option is to install the baby barrier on the pavers, which would require a paver path around the back of the grotto. Another option is to add a path around the entire project and attach the baby barrier, except for the left side where there's a septic restriction. In that case, we would attach it along the edge of the pool deck. And if all else fails, we could always do a property fence.
Please note that if the baby barrier fails the safety inspection, you would be responsible for the cost of the initial barrier and any necessary fixes.
Adam wanted me to let you know that he’s happy to discuss this on the phone with you if you have questions.
