JL In-Ceiling Speakers

JL in-ceiling speakers have a depth of 6.3 inches.

To accommodate the speakers and allow sufficient clearance, a minimum of 8-inch rafters is required.

If the project involves rafters smaller than 8 inches, adjustments such as furring strips or alternative mounting solutions may be necessary.

Verify Rafter Depth Before Installation

Measure ceiling rafter depth in areas where speakers will be installed.

If rafters are less than 8 inches, consult with the design and construction team for possible modifications.
