Obstructions

Do not run plumbing underneath known obstructions - pergola posts, kitchen walls, etc. Draw obstructions on plumbing page and add note: “Avoid Footings & Other Obstruction”.

Drains

2 1/2" PVC Suction line to pool equipment

Returns

2" PVC Pressure line all the way around the pool (trunk line). Connect to pool equipment.

Skimmer

2" PVC Suction line to pool equipment

Cleaner

Pressure cleaner - 1 1/2" PVC Pressure line to pool equipment

Any time you have a feature pump and you have a pressure cleaner, change the cleaner line to a bleed off line. 1 1/2 PVC Pressure. Just label it as a bleed off line. Run it from cleaner location to pool equipment.

Suction cleaner - 1 1/2" PVC Suction line to pool equipment

Any time you have a feature pump and you have a suction cleaner, add a bleed off line. 1 1/2 PVC Pressure. Label it as a bleed off line. Run it from cleaner location to pool equipment.

Bubblers

1 1/2" PVC Pressure line to each bubbler from pool equipment. Each bubbler gets a separate line.

Deck Jets

3/4" PVC Pressure line to each deck jet from pool equipment. Each deck jets gets a separate line.

Spa

2 1/2" PVC Pressure line all the way around the spa (trunk line). Connect to pool equipment.

2” PVC Pressure line to spillover return for zero edge spa

2 1/2" PVC Suction line from spa drain to pool equipment

Auto fill

Add note: “Connect to closest water source. Drainage TBD in field”. Draw supply and overflow lines coming off autofill/drain - end at break line.

3/4" PVC Pressure line to water source

Do not spec out drain line. Our current default is a 2” scum gutter.

Use the same icon as skimmer. Shrink it.

Sheer Descent

2” PVC Pressure line to each sheer descent

1 1/2” PVC Pressure line for smaller sheer descent

Scupper

Most scuppers require 1 1/2” PVC Pressure line to each one

Lights

Add note: "Run conduit for light typ."

Dimensions

Dimension trunk lines around pool and to the pool equipment

Round off to the closest 1'-0"
