Sheer Descent

Avoid using sheer descents on curved walls. It requires complicated custom fixtures. Pillai project example
Use chart below to determine how many HP is needed for the linear inches of sheer descents
Example: This is for a Sheer Decent. 1.25 gallons per minute per inch on a Sheer. So 96" of total sheer requires 120 gallons per minute. Ex. Beaufort Job is (4) 24" sheers = 96" total = 120 gpm) That means this will require a 3hp Feature Pump. Also, some good specs on Flow Performance at 50 feet of Head for the sizes of Pumps so we can start sizing properly

When doing a sheer descent wall with Stonegate/Castlemanor, if the back of the wall is exposed, we need two rows of wall block. If it backs up to a planter, or if the client doesn't mind a single pipe running up the back of their wall, then we can do one row. The wall block is not thick enough to conceal the water line. Typically, we will paint the pipe a color similar to the wall to help hide it if necessary.
