When our clients are upgrading to a natural stone paver patio, we need to make it our standard that all skimmer covers are to be the natural stone. Not the plastic skimmer covers. Little details like this will help set us apart.

Kichler makes a 3" undercap light that comes in 5 different colors, and is about a half and inch less wide than the 3 inch version volt makes. The Volt light is over 4" wide with the housing, while the Kichler one is 3.5" wide total. Helps in tight spots, and can be color matched to the stone we use, rather than just that ugly bronze for everything.

For smooth products such as tile, the fridge opening will be wrapped. Enlarge wall opening to account for finish material thickness.

For rough surface products such as stacked stone, the fridge opening will NOT be wrapped. It will be finished with stucco. You do NOT need to enlarge the wall opening.

When creating a cut out diagram for countertop slabs, run countertops lengthwise to follow grain. A countertop cut into sections should be from the same slab and following the same grain when possible.
